Movies

My Partial List of movies! I started in 1996 collecting movies that I played with in the DVD drive on the computer. I soon found that changing disks was appt to get finger prints. In 1998 I purchased a 5 disk DVD changer and in 1999 I purchased a Pioneer 300 disk DVD changer. By 2003 I had out grown a 300 disk changer and purchased another 300 disk changer that set up in tandem and while searching I could search 600 DVD’s. By 2005 I purchased a Sony 400 disk changer which brought me up to 1000 disks. The Sony 400 disk changer was flawed as it would loose the information about where the disk was and after 2 years of fighting with it I sold it. By 2008 I had so many DVD’s that I could no longer manage them and 600 disks in the tandem Pioneer DVD changers left more that 500 DVD’s to search through so I began to digitize them with the computer and save a file on the PC called an .AVI. The move to AVI in2008 used a technology that took 2 hours to make. I purchased a media player to stream with. My stereo equipment was old and S-Video was outdated so I migrated to HDMI on the Stereo, Media player and then migrated to a Plex Computer based video server. I am no longer limited to the Media server direct connection the the TV and Plex lets me stream in the house both Ethernet or wireless. In 2019 I broke the 2000 DVD mark which was a magic number as now I can stream from Amazon, Netflix, Disney and Hulu. How Times change!
